What is PET board?

Before explaining PET board, let me first explain what PET material is. PET is a resin plastic made of poly (p-phenylene terephthalates), which is commonly used in our daily lives, such as mineral water bottles, cling film, edible oil packaging bottles, plastic boxes, etc. This PET material is safe and environmentally friendly, and does not produce toxic or harmful substances or gases, meeting food grade safety standards.
PET board does not mean that it is made of PET material, but mainly the PET film on the surface of the substrate. Therefore, what we usually refer to as PET board is not actually a board, but a PET film with a thickness of 0.35-0.6mm. The thickness of the membrane skin is thinner for imported products and thicker for domestic products.
There are many types of substrates for boards, such as European pine board, density board, particle board, multi-layer board, etc. Among them, this density board is the best choice as the substrate for PET board, which has the best flatness among all boards. The substrate and PET film are extruded and bonded by cold pressing equipment to form the popular PET board on the market. And it is often used for cabinet door panels.
